About Us

Peg Printing is a Winnipeg based, black-owned small retail business that creates, designs, and prints custom clothing and gift items such as mugs, hats, t-shirts, sweaters, and decals. Our mission is to bring your creative ideas to life, for business and personal uses. Peg Printing was launched in 2019 by Demba Traore. Dem arrived in Winnipeg at the age of 18 years old in 2007 from Mali to pursue his education in Business Administration at University of Saint Boniface. As a French speaker he decided to continue his education at Robertson College in English where he graduated with an honor in Accounting Specialist and Payroll. After several years working in the public service field, Dem’s decided to start a business. As a natural visual learner, graphics designs and what led him to the garments printing business. Why the name Peg Printing? Well, this was the most natural name that came to Dem to honor the city that made him the father, husband, and citizen that he is today.
